I went and talked to Monica at check in as advised. I talked to the HSKP Supervisor that was next door and she told me to go to front desk and tell them it was for Rx, and they would waive the fee since they had no room that was non-smoking available and she would deliver a fridge. The room was OK, but it had no refrigerator for Rx. This time they had no NON-SMOKING handicap rooms available, so we took a ground floor room - #432. Usually, we get a handicap room for RX and due to my wife 2 hip surgeries and my recent knee replacement. Was told because they had a lot of locals, they raised the price. Just a little misleading, but then the I-15 signs said ‘FROM”.
I did a quick check on website and kayak posted $35 and Trip Advisor posted $34 and Travelocity at $40, but none at $58 plus tax as we were charged. We have Seniors, Military, and AAA for any specials. The rooms are Sunday through Thursday advertised up and down the I-15 at $29+ and we usually pay $36 plus a refundable $20 deposit. We have stayed there several times before when traveling from Colorado to California, but this time it was worst stay there ever.
